This policy explains what can be returned, how to start a return, and when a replacement is offered instead of a refund.
Checking your return eligibility
Return eligibility for your order depends on the product and the reason for the return. Contact us with your order number and we will confirm what applies to your order before you send anything back.
Your statutory rights in respect of a wrong, damaged or defective item are not affected by this, and are set out below.
1. When you can return something
We accept returns in these situations:
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Wrong item delivered | You received something other than what you ordered. Returned at no cost to you, and replaced or refunded in full. |
| Item damaged in transit | The product arrived physically damaged. Returned at no cost to you, and replaced or refunded in full. |
| Defective item | The product does not work as it should. Inspected, then replaced or refunded, or dealt with under the Warranty Policy where the fault appears later. |
| Missing item or part | Part of the order, or an accessory listed in the box contents, is missing. We send the missing part, or replace or refund the item. |
| Materially different from the description | The item is materially different from how it was described or shown. Returned at no cost to you. |
In each of these cases the return shipping is on us. You are never asked to pay to send back something that was wrong when it arrived.
2. Condition of returned items
Except where the item is defective, damaged or wrong, a returned item should be:
- unused and in the condition you received it;
- in its original packaging, with the box, tags and any protective wrapping;
- complete, with every accessory, cable, adapter, manual and free item that came with it;
- accompanied by the invoice or order number.
A returned item that is incomplete or has been damaged after delivery may be rejected, or refunded in part. If that happens we tell you what we found and why, and we can send the item back to you.
3. Evidence we may ask for
For a damaged, defective, wrong or incomplete item, please send photographs of:
- the outer packaging, including the shipping label;
- the product itself, showing the problem;
- everything that was in the box, laid out together, where something is missing.
This is what lets us resolve a claim quickly and, where the courier caused the damage, raise it with them. We ask for what is reasonable to establish the problem - nothing more.
4. How to start a return
- Contact us through Order Help, Contact us, or the complaints form, with your order number and the reason.
- Send any photographs we ask for.
- We confirm whether the return is accepted, and how the item comes back to us.
- Pack the item securely, with all its contents.
- We inspect it on arrival and confirm the outcome.
5. How the item comes back
We confirm how the item should come back to us when we approve the return - either by arranging a courier pickup or by giving you a return address. Please do not ship anything back before a return has been approved, as we cannot trace an unexpected parcel to your order.
6. Inspection
Returned items are inspected when they reach us. We check that the item is the one that was sent, that it is complete, and that the reported problem is as described. We aim to complete inspection promptly and we tell you the outcome either way. If we reject a return we explain why, and you may escalate through our complaints process.
7. Replacement
Whether an approved return is settled by replacement or by refund is confirmed when we approve the return, and depends on the product and its availability. Where a replacement is not possible, you are refunded in full.
8. Items that cannot be returned
We do not operate a blanket list of non-returnable categories. Where a specific product cannot be returned for a lawful reason - hygiene, safety, personalisation or final sale - that is stated clearly on the product page before you buy.
A return may also be refused where the item has been damaged after delivery through misuse, dropped or liquid damage, unauthorised repair or modification, or where the serial number has been removed or altered.
What is never excluded
None of the above affects your rights where an item is wrong, damaged, defective or materially different from its description. Those rights are given to you by law, 99 MULTIPLE SOLUTIONS does not exclude them, and no listing marked "non-returnable" removes them.
9. What happens to your money
An approved return is refunded under the Refund Policy, to the original payment method. Where only part of an order is returned, only that part is refunded, and any discount applied to the order is apportioned across it.
We will never ask for your PIN, OTP or password
99 MULTIPLE SOLUTIONS will never ask you for your UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, net banking password, or any OTP in order to send you a refund. A refund is something we push to you - it never requires you to approve, authorise or enter anything.
Anyone asking you to enter a PIN, share an OTP, install a remote-access or screen-sharing app, or scan a QR code "to receive a refund" is attempting to take money from you, not give it to you. Scanning a QR code always sends money. End the call and report it to us through our complaints page.
