Product description
A traditional handi for slow-cooked dals, biryanis and gravies that can go straight from the stove to the dining table. Copper conducts heat very evenly, which suits gentle simmering. The inside is lined with tin so food does not touch bare copper, and the hammered outer finish hides small marks. Brass side handles and a copper lid complete the set. It suits gas stoves only; it does not work on induction. Re-tinning may be needed after years of regular use.
