Handwoven Cotton Yoga Rug, 183 x 61 cm, Striped

Before foam mats, yoga in India was practised on cotton durries, and many people still prefer them for seated practice, meditation and pranayama. This rug is handwoven on a loom from thick cotton yarn in a striped pattern. It is breathable, absorbs sweat and does not stick to the skin in hot weather. It can be placed over a foam mat for grip, used alone on a carpet or wooden floor, and washed in a machine.
